I've been at Georgia State University since 1990. I teach people how to write effectively, think critically, and speak persuasively. My scholarly areas of focus are the history of rhetoric and digital communication. Writing for digital delivery is as much about code as it is about prose and that's why I write interactive class websites (digital learning spaces) and digital book platforms using PHP and MySQL. But I still write books and articles using words alone.

This screen might need more content. It looks lame on my large desktop monitor, although it looks ok on my laptop. Ideally the text would go all the way to the bottom of the image. I could make the image smaller, but more text would be a better solution because as it is there is too much useless, empty space, at least on my desktop. You should try to view your website on a bunch of different monitors and in different browsers. The way it looks to you is not necessarily the way it looks to others.

I could also delete line 84, my name, because it's already on the banner. Try not to say the same thing twice.
