Pullman's note. As the author points out, these 12 are just a selection of the inventory. Thus it is just an illustration, not a valid instrument. I don't know what kind of waiting each item has, so even if this list were complete, I wouldn't know how to score it. Moreover, I'm not a pscyhologist. Nevertheless, by this toy's estimation, if you score a 12, you are a narcissist. If you score 0 you are a willing servant. Likely you are somewhere in between, though as a budding academic, you should be north of 6.
